Grand rapids civic theatre - The Our Theatre opened on January 22, 1929 with seating 1,122. It remained in operation as a motion picture theatre until 1964 when it closed. A little later it was reopened as the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre until the 1970’s when the Civic Theatre moved into the old Majestic Theatre. It is now home to the Hyatt Theatrical Lighting and Supply.
